A Mission to Serve When we first started working many, many years ago, it was
our hope to do business not only with people we enjoyed, but also with individuals and
organizations that shared, and appreciated, our passion towards personalized service. It's
a passion that's served us well over the years.
We've long believed that a company has to offer more than just a product or
service to be successful. There has to be an inherent sense of responsibility on the part
of that company to earn the client's business, respect and, most importantly, trust. It's
a mission that many prescribe to, but to which fewer ascribe.
This mission has long been in the forefront of Fleet Services' business
philosophy. We count ourselves fortunate that our clients think of us more like a partner,
rather than a provider, when it comes to servicing their needs. And, we work hard to
ensure that our relationships extend beyond business.
Interestingly, a growing number of these relationships have been with
individuals associated with religious and non-profit organizations. We are deeply moved by
the compassion and unselfish attitude they bring towards their particular mission.
While we'll never truly be able to emulate the passion and commitment that
motivates all that they do, we are appreciative of the opportunity to contribute in some
way. This is the driving force behind Caritas Vehicle Services.
In developing this new program, we sought input from those it was intended to
serve. Our name, which came from a suggestion by Father Tony Zimmer, Chaplain of Pius XI
High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, reflects our desire to provide a special kind of
care. This concept of caring goes beyond just providing the best price.
It's a pledge to do everything in our power to ensure safety and reliability
not only for the vehicles we've secured, but also for the drivers and passengers.
It is also a commitment to look for new ways to assist our clients whether
it's through maintenance, vehicle acquisition and disposal, management reports or the
implementation of a fuel card.
Caritas Vehicle Services' programs and services are not etched in stone.
Rather, they are more like a work in progress that is constantly evolving. As we continue
to learn more about each of our client's individual needs, we will be developing new and
better ways to help them in managing their assets, maximizing productivity and reducing
costs.
